Norwegian, Holmenkollen-based artist Jeffrey Bergmann brings irresistible groove, funk, and style. Over the past 10 years, he has released numerous records under his own name. His latest album, Get Down With It (2025), is both a celebration of and a tribute to the disco era of the ’70s and ’80s, with a focus on the groovy and funky side of the genre. However, he works primarily as a producer, songwriter, and vocalist.

Despite having produced several albums as a lead artist and worked on productions for other performers, Jeffrey Bergmann remains virtually unknown in Norway and Scandinavia.

Musically, he has been involved in songwriting and remixing for countless projects in recent years, including work with Akon, MIMS, Laura Pausini, Rhea Raj, and other EDM/house artists across Europe.

A new phase
For the first time, he is releasing music in Norwegian and stepping into the spotlight in his home country. After a career spanning more than 30 years, the time has come. In spring 2026, Jeffrey enters a new phase with the launch of Norwegian-language music. At the end of April, he will release the single DU VET DU VIL.

The single DU VET DU VIL is the first track from the upcoming album IRRELEVANT, written by Jeffrey and Tone Helene Ferger.

About the artist and musician Jeffrey Bergmann

Jeffrey Bergmann may be one of the Norwegian music industry’s best-kept secrets.

The son of Norwegian artist Sigurd Bergmann, Jeffrey was born in 1965. He has two sons and resides in Holmenkollen, Oslo, where he also has his workplace and recording studio.

He began his career as a DJ in the 1980s but soon transitioned into writing music and lyrics for other artists. His productions and songs have appeared on charts in countries including the USA, Canada, South Korea, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Chile, Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Slovakia, Japan, the UK, South Africa, Turkey, Switzerland, and Nigeria.

His latest album from 2025, GET DOWN WITH IT, has received significant praise from names such as Purple Disco Machine (ranked number one on their recommendation list for over a month) and Don Diablo, among other prominent figures, and is highly respected within musician circles.

Jeffrey prefers to let the grooves speak for themselves, as he puts it:
