DJ The Wave is an Austria DJ who is behind the German song LET´S GO SOUTH, which became a mega-summer hit overnight and was also played in non-German-speaking clubs and holiday vacations throughout Europe. With the hit single he achieved record results and was for 11 weeks consistently ranked No. 1 in the Austrian and German single charts and overall 40 weeks in the Austrian and German charts, in the latter he finished in second place of the German Top 100, won the Austrian Music Award AMADEUS for the most successful single 2003 and was nominated for the German Music Award ECHO. Among his greatest successes is the appearance on THE DOME and TOP OF THE POPS.
