Danzel
Danzel (born as Johan Waem) was born on November 9th, 1976. When he was 15 he and his friends started the pop-rockband “Scherp Op Snee” or “S.O.S.” in which he sang and played the bass guitar. He started his professional career by becoming the finalist in Belgians Idols competition, 2003.
Danzel has toured the world several times and has done an enormous amount of shows for audiences which sometimes exceeded 200.000 people! Over the past 10 years, audiences enjoyed his wonderful songs like: “Put your hands up in the air”, “My arms keep missing you” (with Dj F.R.A.N.K), “You spin me round”, “What is life” (with Belgium's top Dj Regi) and so on... He got an Eska Award in Poland, an MTV-Music award in Russia, several gold records for the sales of singles and albums and so on.
DANZEL is now out with an 80's classic hit MANIAC- the Phil Ramone & Michael Sembello song from Flashdance "Maniac". A song which will get his audience out on the dance floor.
